Sorry OldDan but how long and how cold are your winters. I guess that is one part of the world that is rooting for global warming!
We have four seasons just like the rest of you, but the ones we have aren't evenly divided. Cold is a relative matter, as you can usually put on enough clothing to keep warm. When you find this difficult, you simply stay at home and try and enlarge your family. One way of another. We aren't into this global warming, as this would mean we couldn't burn the pile of cow chips any more. It would also put a stop to the smoking of beef jerky and trout. We prefer to keep it just the way it is. It also discurages a bunch of "sissies" from putting down roots any where near here. Again, it serves a purpose. Get the idea? :thumb:
It's only 27 degrees here today and I got the woodburner cranking out some mondo heat ten feet from the keyboard. The furnace hasn't kicked on once today and the dog won't budge from in front of the heat. Yeah, this is winter brrrrrrrrr.
OldDan, I hate to tell you this, but a couple of my homosexual friends are moving to Wyoming. They're the big, brawny "outdoors" type... you know, they wear flannel shirts, they drive big trucks, they have beards and muscles like pythons. They like to cut down trees to build cabins, they hunt and fish, they smoke cigars, they arm-wrestle, they have hunting dogs, rifles and shotguns and they're members of the NRA. You'd never know they're gay unless you become the meat in their sandwich. Kiss
You hate to tell me and I hate to hear it, but this is a big state and as long as they remain anonymous, and don't bother me, they are free to do as they wish. However, should I know this little secret of theirs, and they are any where near, all bets are off. We will see just how long they remain in the state. They won't like driving all the way to Colorado to buy gasoline for their "big" trucks or food for their "hunting" dogs. You are forgetting the fact that they won't be the only ones with rifles and shotguns, and I could care less about the NRA. If they are really your friends you might let them in on this little promise. After all, it's the only friendly thing to do!
I have noticed that you seem to have quite a few of this type of "friend". Should we be thinking of just where you stand on this subject?
I think you know where I stand on the subject. I'm tolerant and understanding. And as far as making the guys drive to Colorado, I'm flabbergasted! Why, their money is just as good as yours! These guys will fit right in with the rest of you burly, Wyoming-types. In fact, I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference.
Shouldn't be too hard to spot these sissies! They announced that a new law was recently passed in Oklahoma. "When a couple gets a divorce they're still brothers." So all we need to know is are they brothers, is the spit running down the side of their pickup, and if they know CoinOKC. We don' need them or their money! Keep it in Oklahoma where they are appreciated.
That's a good one, I hadn't heard that one, yet. I would love for them to stay here, but they insist there are more homosexuals in Wyoming than Oklahoma. I guess they just want to be with their own kind. I never thought about it, but a bunch of men hanging out in the woods and at truck stops does seem kind of gay, so I guess they're right.
