Mua ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! :D

I mean what else can you say? The RNC has actually spelled out every characterization of the Right that the Left already believes. If the Left believes it and RNC believes it, who are the only ones still in denial?

First here's a link to the story from Politico. Make your own decisions.

Now in all fairness to the RNC I have some skepticism about such a "valuable" document fallling into "enemy" hands. Then Michael Steele addresses the issue when questioned. He most certainly doesn't want to be tied to it. Understandable but makes a case for this document being real.

Now, that being said, why aren't we being blasted with it on the media? After all I've heard about how "left" the mainstream media is and only Fox presents the truth why am I NOT seeing this covered? Is Fox not covering it because IT IS the truth?

Seriously, one would think that this would be really big news no matter what side it came from and yes, I'm sure it happens on both sides of the aisle.

Are the Dems sitting on it as an "October Surprise"? I hope not as that plan didn't work to well for the Repos now did it.

Let it all hang out I say. Those "targeted for donations" through the use of words like "fear", "socialism" and "fear socialism" are too stupid to realize just how they are manipulated even when it's thrown in their faces in writing.

The whole scenario reeks of big business. How can people be used to accomplish goals using their OWN hard earned money in this case. We should be thankful that we have jobs from our glorious employers after all. Only difference is the people involved here are NOT our employers. We vote for them to work for US. THEY ARE OUR EMPLOYEES!

    Clembo,

Of course the document is real. Even Steele has acknowledged that as he put it, "some low level staffer" was responsible for it when in fact it was the guy he hired as the director that came up with this gem.

Defending the indefensible, the GOP supporters in all my other forums say exactly the same thing. "Both sides do it." Perhaps both sides do target their bases to raise money and define them in some unflattering terms behind closed doors. We would have to assume this except for the fact that we actually have a document in one parties case that really shines a bright light on at least one parties cynacism, crass disregard, and outright distain for their own base.

The RNC's characterization of their "visceral" givers and their "ego-driven, casual givers" is congruent with everything the Left has said about the Right for years. Here is their leadership saying exactly the same thing about the base of the GOP and to be perfectly clear, you can see pretty much the same thing in the right wing visceral posters in just about any forum.

As for why this isn't sprawled across every end of the media is because the media doesn't operate like FOX News for the most part. The CNN's, the NBC's, the CBS's its a one maybe two day story at best. That is what we on the Left call adult journalism. If the situation had been reversed, Fox News would spend at leat two more weeks telling their listeners what they should think about this handbook and how it proves everything they have been saying all along.

Look, this has nothing to do with anything other than the RNC and their opinion of their donors. I have to agree with their assessment and it will probably be very effective based on their target audience. You simply can't fix stupid, but you can laugh all the way to the bank. Televangelists do this on a daily basis with great success. Some people were born to be taken. That's just the way it is.

WOW! All of your other forums? Knowing exactly how FOX and the other news networks react to stories?
You must spend a lot of time cruising the 'net & watching television...a lot of time!
Is this how you folks in the hallowed halls of higher education spend your time? I hope the tax money I contribute doesn't subsidize your computer play time and channel surfing.
