Ever live in a Central or South American country? Or how about Spain? Or since you're American, how about Puerto Rico? Ribbit
Enough about me, we're still waiting to hear if you've ever experienced anything beyond your backyard?
I've lived in 2 of the 3 places I asked if you had and I've studied the one I didn't live in. You learn something about us, by living in those places, that you don't understand by just living here. I've been on the outside looking in, have you? Ribbit
I grew up in Detroit, does that count as a 3rd world country? Here, turn up the volume and take a look for yourself.
Is it still part of the USA? If Detroit is a "3rd world country" we have a hell of a lot of them in this nation. Question really is how do we fix it?
I stayed at a Holiday Inn once. Oh, you do need a passport even if you are in the military. Its green not blue. At least you did when I was in. I spent six months in Beirut. Now Lebanon; thats a third world country.
I was issued both an official and civilian passport when I went to Berlin. The official one was maroon, and I never had to use it, just my military ID. Not surprising, since Berlin was still considered an occupied city at the time (1984-1988).
It depends upon the country. I didn't need a passport in Korea or Qatar and, of course, not in Afghanistan or Iraq either but they are occupied states. lol I am pretty sure in Europe, you need a passport if you are stationed there but, just traveling though, you only need Nato orders.
