First, there was Sunday night's bombshell from Politico regarding allegations of sexual harassment from at least two women against Cain. Out-of-court settlements, bound to secrecy. Now on Monday morning it appears that Cain's campaign may have violated a bunch of legal and election financing laws: http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsme...egally_gotten_his_campaign_off_the_ground.php Is Cain wiping out while he's ahead? Is this why we have not seen his wife? Is the GOP nomination race imploding ... again?
Joe the Plumber (whose name isn't Joe and who isn't quite a plumber) is apparently gearing up for a run for Congress. Maybe the RNC or the Koch Bros or someone could talk him into setting his sights a little higher.
Joseph Wurzelbacher "As an employee of a plumbing contractor,[1] he was given the moniker "Joe the Plumber." Uhhmmm?
nailed me fair and square. Although being an employee of a plumbing contractor doesn't necessarily make you a plumber. I think the work he was licensed to do was somewhat limited in scope. But he does seem like the best thing you guys have got right now. Even better than Trump was imo.
He does seem to have all the qualities the RW'ers like. Not very bright, angry, white, easy to remember name, not too many letters in a row, .... feel free to keep adding.
So why aren't you a RW'er? You are definitely white. You are definitely angry. Your name has fewer letters and easier to remember. And ........
LOL, you can try to cloak your racist comments in sugar, but anyone can see right through to what you really mean.
Oh lordy, lordy, was that a "white" sugar comparison or a brown sugar comparison? And how do you know what anyone can see?
Because I'm not dumb enough to sell out my own best interests to people that wave a flag in my face while picking my pocket, convince me abortion,God, and guns are the only issues that I should vote on, and l don't let ideology serve as a replacement for reason. What kind of RW'er could I possibly make with qualities like that?
Well that's a matter of opinion. And I think I've told you that I'm not interested in your opinion already.
To return to the original intention of this thread: yes. He's wiping out badly. I have to say that I expected him to do so, since few people who make the money that he's made are squeaky clean. I can't say that I credit any organization called "muckraker," but there is evidence coming out that he is not the goodhearted, jovial capitalist that he's made himself out to be. We need to learn that our electoral system is terribly flawed. It's a shame that we have a party system at all. It would be interesting (although probably extremely messy) to simply return to voting for president and vice president separately and let them sort out their differences when they got into shared office. Could you have imagined a Hilary Clinton/Sarah Palin presidential term?
