Former aid testifies about WHAT SHE HEARD HAPPERNED (she gets her 15 minutes of fame although she was not in the car...LOL) so that the unscheduled "Shiffty Show" could have a new bombshell (fizzzz) revelation. Note that trump is going to be accused of knowing that there were guns there (NOT COUNTING THE COPS - one for sure that was used to kill a protester) and that there would be trouble (that's probably why he offered the troops).

I'd ask the INFORMED members here if they have ever heard of a trial with no cross exam or defense witnesses SINCE A FEW YEARS AFTER THE CIVIL WAR? There must have been some in the Southern States during the 20th Century.

 

Nobody is calling it a trial, it's a hearing. They're under oath, but it's not like anyone is being charged and convicted. The trial part comes next, should prosecutors feel there's enough evidence. This is about formally gathering evidence, their sworn testimony, and these people would have to testify again at a real trial where they would be cross examined.

 

Latest! It is being reported that Trump assaulted the agents and grabbed the car wheel. Note: the agents in the car have not been asked to testify. Why? Because they are willing to swear that the story is a lie!

Patel *** U.S. Department of Defense) who testified to the members of the "show" about the National Guard and Trump as he was in the room with Trump. Obviously, the committee did not care to have him in the show. They would not release his testimony to the public either! THE COMMITTEE DOES NOT WANT AMERICANS TO KNOW THE TRUTH about 1/6. Sooner or later it will get out to the lazy, sleepy, uninterested citizens.

BTW, I guess you are not paying attention to your buddies. The next time I hear one of them "misspeak" on the radio or TV about the trial I'll let you know.

Sorry. You don't catch flies with salt. A Congressional Hearing is supposed to reveal knowledge about something. To do this, people are called in and asked questions and give testimony under oath. Often there is a back and forth (that's the defense and argument part usually accompanied by a personal lawyer). There is no argument or defense here. Everything is scripted from the behind the scenes testimony they already have. The committee decides how to guide the entire "show." They can call anyone they wish. For example, that's why the principles involved with 1/6 like that Mexican child abusing witch Pelosi will not be called even though she is in the center of this.

We are watching the persecution of a former president continue from the first day he was sworn in. Nothing new is going to come out. I can only imagine where we would be today if enemies of our culture, traditions, prosperity, boarders, and morals had not succeeded to bring us down.

 

Not that an argument is even necessary for a hearing, but if it was, it's still not what you're describing. A legal argument is not a back and forth or a debate. In short it is a case made by combining evidence and statutes to demonstrate crimes were committed.

An argument is an evidenced position, not a fight. There's no defense because nobody is on trial or getting convicted. These are just inquiries under oath, which may very well lead to criminal trials. This is something done all the time in these types of legislative bodies. Remember the Benghazi hearings? No "defense" there.

 

What makes you ding-dongs think that these secret service agents won't be forced to publicly reveal what they witnessed? They have already been interviewed but this incident wasn't known at that point. There is already precedent for secret service agents to be compelled to tell congress what they know. Some call it a hearing, some call it a trial, and any knowledgeable, fair minded human who is not full of the hatred, lies, and obfuscations force fed to their covered eyes and wax filled ears knows this Shifty sift show is a staged sham with no relationship to any attempt of exposing the actual guilty people. So as I have stated several times, it is very frustrating to post with ANYONE who does not know what is going on and why. Hopefully, before you guys die you will have gone through a GREAT AWAKENING as I and may other former politically ignorant people have done when they took the blindfold off and picked out the ear wax. The best citizen is an informed one of any political belief. Unfortunately the Anarchists and Marxists know more about what is going on right now than most patriotic Americans in any political party!!!!

If you were not politically ignorant you would know that SO FAR their report has been practically ignored while it is full bore reporting on the staffer who was not there. Furthermore, they will not be called to testify because it undermines the script of the "show."
That's the reason you will not hear the testimony of Patel that was not public EITHER! It puts holes in the forgone conclusion of the "Performance" being done to please the politically ignorant citizens. We have a small group of them posting on the PL forum.

PS The Republicans owe it to ALL OF US to force all the top echelon of the FBI, congressional leaders, Hillery and her election team, etc. to testify to what they were doing during Trump's years in office.

Not at all. The only person I am aware of who's testimony has been shown to be false SO FAR is the female staffer. Honestly Joe. Their are NO REAL Republican congress "persons" on the committee. The people testifying are Republicans if you say so. I say SO WHAT? The only Republicans, Democrats, or Independents who HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO TESTIFY have been hand picked for what they will say.
