Their source is the actual video. Are arguing with that? It is interesting that you see a bias in something like media matters but are completely willing to believe some like Rose who also has an agenda. Why are you so willing to believe someone with an agenda that you agree with while you question someone else that has an agenda you don't agree with? Media Matters has a liberal agenda and this Rose person has an antiabortion agenda. You really are a contradiction in logic Jack. Sometimes it seems that you really don't think things all the way through.

 

Can you see how hypocritical and two faced that is? You are the only one here professing to "not listen to" the other side. Yet you are accusing the other side of being a "contradiction in logic" and not thinking "things all the way through".

They shot at least 12 videos and heavily edited them to create the appearance of illegal acts on the part of PP. Nothing O'Keefe & Breitbart haven't already done in the past. The only question is why would anyone keep buying into their deception? My guess is because, like Mulder, "They really want to believe". Whenever these wing nuts are forced to release the entire tapes unedited or go to jail, the truth usually comes out but the presumption of guilt always comes first along with Right wingers calling for defunding of the organization. The real casualty at this point is the truth.

 

Again, I'll ask how the video is a hoax. Nowhere in the article you referenced does Media Matters have proof the video a hoax. They simply want to discredit the author. Per your referenced article:

(Still nothing about it being a hoax).


“Cecile Richards urged progressive bloggers to spread the word that Planned Parenthood’s clients desperately need the health care provided to them by Planned Parenthood clinics, explaining that for many of the women who come in for basic gynecological services, Planned Parenthood provides the only health care they receive,” Stan wrote. (Still nothing about a hoax).

In addition, Media Matters’ executive vice president Ari Rabin-Havt reportedly announced his organization’s plans to continue targeting Live Action, “debunking the organization’s claims, and focusing on its methods.”
Media Matters decried the Live Action investigative videos as “seven minutes of nothing” and a “bogus smear.” The group continued its assault Friday, accusing Live Action of doctoring the videos — the same claim the group made when ACORN workers were caught covering up a purported prostitution ring in undercover videos last year. (Let's see, "seven minutes of nothing" means exactly what? "Bogus smear". How's it bogus? "Doctoring the videos". How were they doctored? No explanation or proof given here.)


Additionally, liberal activist group MoveOn.org is also stepping forward to defend Planned Parenthood in the wake of the videos, demanding that various media outlets not air the footage. (Oh, I'm SURE they'd like that!) “Tell The Hill to take down the article unless they update it to include this source’s history of lying, doctoring video and using illegal means to obtain information,” the group wrote in an e-mail to its supporters. (Was this video a lie? Was it doctored? Were illegal means used to obtain the information?)

Well, dr moen does allow his young son to date an adult so it shouldn't surprise anyone that this sort of thing doesn't offend his sensibilities.

 

What part of "severely edited" confuses you? If you take comments out of context and run them in a different order so that they appear to be answering different questions, hoax is the only word to use. You guys are so quick to believe this already discredited tactic of the Right wing because you are desperate. Only idiots on the Right would ever fall for this highly deceptive tactic again. Even PP knew they were being punked and reported these people to the FBI. Isn't that what they were supposed to do? Did that stop them from posting the film anyway? No, because they knew they could get mindless drones to react just as you are reacting. Go figure, they know their audience.

 

Only the part when you say, "severely edited". I recommend everyone watch the video and decide for themselves if they believe it was "severely edited" as you claim.

 

I can see how reasonable people could disagree over whether the video is a condemnation of planned parenthood or not. Or whether the organization itself acted properly or not to the situation. But, I really can't see how the video can just be simply dismissed when even planned parenthood fired the worker and called what she did 'repugnant' and 'unacceptable'.
