Just for my own information, what supposedly happened April 9, 1945? VE day was May 8 and VJ Day was August 14 (or 15)
April 9 was the day the US knew it had the Nazis beat. Either way we didnt start killing our enemies until 1942 not 1941. Think whatever you want cornpone. How did I twist history? The US didnt land in North Africa until November of 1942. You must be doing that new math where you can add on amounts that arent there. So Fall.'42-Spring, '45. Is that not less than three years? Its fools like YOU that make me sick. So sick in fact, that I vomit everytime I see your name on one of these posts. I dont twist history to satisfy a post. And those 3000 people who died on Dec.7; were killed before WWII. Its true, Sasquatch. War was declared Dec. 8
Like I said before, you win. It started and ended when you say it did. And I went through this whole scenario without any personal attacks. It started and ended "Fall.'42-Spring, '45"; "April 18, 1942- April 9, 1945", or "1942 to 1945" as you said and they are all less than 3 years. I was just curious what April 9, 1945 had to do with anything. We are going to have to make sure that date gets recorded because no one else knows of that date.
