Can I simplify American politics for you? We have one party, the Republicans that are turning over our political system to the wealthiest 2% of the country. The Republicans are completely and unabashedly bought and paid for and have convinced social conservatives, those people that hate gays, minorities, immigrants, atheists, women, or any other group that isn't white male, that they are the party of morals. The Democrats are a loose conglomerate of everything Republicans aren't. In other words, everyone else that isn't in the upper 2% of the wealth pyramid and social conservatives. They have no natural constituency outside of unions and trial lawyers. The only group that is ever in play in any election is the so called Independents. This group is made up of people who usually are low information, nonpolitical, and as likely to not vote as to vote. Some are really Democrats and Republicans but call themselves Independents anyway. They fool themselves into believing their own adopted label and vote along party lines except perhaps in local elections. Once you understand all of this, you can see why Ron Paul appeals to some and not to others.

You missed "angry" and "old" from your usual racist rants.

BTW, I guess Condoleezza Rice, Michael Steele, Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Colin Powell, Roderick R. Paige, etc. and so forth never existed. Interesting how prejudiced minds see things - or don't see the facts.

^ Rush -- This is a Republican. They hold up a few tokens and then completely forget about all of their legislation against gays, women, immigrants, minorities, the poor, the elderly, the workers, and everyone else they despise. They don't seem to realize that nobody is fooled by a few token representatives when it is so easy for most of us to see very clearly the racist, elitist, money worshipping, hate merchants they are the rest of the time.

You are the only one here show despise and classifies peoples by their races, sexes, sexual orientation, wealth, age, temperament, religious beliefs, etc. and even the section of the country in whioch they have been educated - and their accent!

BTW, you keep assuming that I am a Republican. You have any proof what party I belong to? FWIW, I would guess I have voted for fewer Republicans than you have Dips.

Just gotta classify everyone, huh? If you have to fit everyone into one of your groups, that one is better than most, I guess.

Rush -- Right winger attacking the messenger instead of the message. Still hasn't addressed all the anti-gay, anti-minority, anti-women, anti-worker, anti-immigrant, etc. positions the GOP supports legislatively.

Not really. A right winger attacking the idiocy of a left winger calling Palin an "angry, redneck, old, white male".

BTW. Please keep this up. You are the best publicity the reps could ever have as to why the liberals should never be respected or believed.

Rush -- And finally regresses to just pure insults ignoring the fact that legislatively, the Republicans are the party of division, hatred, intolerance, and greed. They also have to have the last word so I am done here. Been nice taking to ya Rush. Love our neighbors to the north!

In Dr moen, phd-speak, he calls everyone a "right winger" and a "republican" who doesn't share his far left wing radical ideology. His angry blanket labeling includes folks like me who consider themselves a "conservative" above everything else. Speaking for for myself, I am none of the above....but this wouldn't be the only thing dr moen, phd is wrong about.

So quoting your words means I have regressed "to just pure insults". How interesting! Although I doubt that rush qualifies for your bias against us "southern educated" right wingers who speak with a drawl, he does find Ron Paul interesting. That may mean that he qualifies in you other hate group as an "angry old white, redneck, curmudgeon MILF mongering idiots hardcore racists cross burning white hooded fringe Right winger". Just to be sure, those are all YOUR descriptors of anything to the right of Soros.

Lest I forget your other quotes, "[I am] easily the highest educated person in this forum" which leads directly to "Society forces us to make judgments based not on our own experiences but rather the stereotypes we are fed through the media."

Only moen did. I swear he can't even remember his own posts much less follow a conversation. He also forgot that he had posted "so I am done here." I guess his facts are about as trustworthy as his word.

Never too early for a little nip. I used to use orange flavored listerine in the morning. Decided to switch to Stoli Orange, they do the same thing really.

Hmmmmm... so he did, so he did.... A little investigative work reveals precisely that the word was used in Post #27 of this very thread by Mr. Moen himself! Hence, I don't understand his admonition of the use of the word in his very quote in Post #33. I think this will require some additional detective work......

    Ron Paul

I have listened to right wing radio from Detroit and found it very disturbing.I am speaking of Rush Limbaugh in the afternoon. It's to bad we have lump Ron Paul in with the rest of them.

It looks as though no matter who gets elected, they will only be puppets to corporations and the banking system.

Cuba had the same problem until one man had a vision and acted upon it.

But instead of being raped by Corporations and the Wall Street Bankers it was Corporations and the American Mafia.

Castro returned Cuba back to the people.I think America needs the same thing.
