I vote that you pay for it. And I bet I can get most people to agree to that. That's the American way. What, you thought we were all going to pay for it? Hah! That's not the American way.
There's nothing in your post I'd disagree with. I myself identify more with Democrats for their willingness to help people in need, but I'm hardly the Democrat's poster boy. I've preached balance here on this site, and as I see it, it's severely unbalanced in America. We have the capability to become a greater nation, wealthy beyond what most could believe, and capable of helping each other with no financial distress, but not when we have two diametrically opposed points of view out to destroy each other. I say "two", but I really mean "one". I could explain how that would work, making America unstoppable, but it would be pointless since it isn't going to happen under the system we have now. Too much power is in the hands of the legislature, and the judicial is essentially corrupted, meaning no matter who is in the Executive, they are more or less nothing. They say the office of the President is the most powerful in the World, but I call that BS. IMO, it's lip-service and theatrics that reign there. It's impotent, just like our system. IMO, of course lol
