What is it about politics that makes people get so angry?

See, you get really, really mad when someone doesn't agree with you. Me? I could care less if you agree with me or not, I simply ask you to explain many of the things you post. Need a couple of examples? You have said profit, wealth & achievement needs to be regulated. I didn't agree or disagree, I simply asked you how that should be determined & who should have the power to regulate it. On another ocassion you opined that capitalism should be abandoned. My simple question was what system would you advocate in it's place?
You continually claim conservatives only look out for the rich & powerful when the FACTS (oh, those pesky facts) indicate it's the libs who control most of the wealth & it's the libs who tend to run the major corporations. I can continue, but do I really need to?

 

PeaBrain..The Right, represent the mega wealthy. Always have. If we all become multi-gazillionaires tomorrow, which party will we want to represent us? The republcans. Duh. If we all are laid off/outsourced, who would we look to for help..HINT...It AIN'T the right.

Yeah, that $11 million dollar wedding happening today...Kerry's $7 million yacht....Rangel's $1 million Caribbean properties...Pelosi being the wealthiest member of Congress....John Edwards living in the largest private property in the US....the Kennedy's, their compounds...etc Hurrah for the common man!!

 

So long as they're not outsourcing jobs and and cutting the throats of people trying to survive to attain their CEO type bonuses, or run sweatshops or any of the other fun things the right likes to call crapitalism.

 

How do you know they didn't? Afterall, hasn't it been your claim that everyone who has thrived in the Free Market has done so at the expense of someone else?
People surrounding the Clintons & Kennedys have mysteriously died over the years, many have been imprisoned and there's all kind of claims made against them, Pelosi's family business has been investigated for all types of fraud & influence peddling, we all know about Rangel's "issues", the family fortune that keeps Kerry in the lifestyle at which he's become accustomed is a result of the Free Market & manufacturing..think Heinz has never laid of an employee when demand was down or ventured outside the US when it was necessary? Your boy John Edward's success is 100% due to the Free Market (and his shortcomings are due to that liberal elitist hypocrisy). And Maxine Watters? Geesh!!

 

Fraud and corruption exists everywhere idiot. I never said otherwise. However...it can be most easily found amongst the wealthy, and prominently displayed in the largest percentages in the republican party. You can here them daily. They hollar "Tax cuts for the rich" almost daily. Greed and evil at it's finest.
