When is "Enough enough"

Seems the libs believe they should be able to dictate or determine when someone has "enough"....enough cash, enough wealth, enough stuff, whatever.
My question is, how do they plan on determining when enough is enough?
Everyone has different obligations & different goals...I have 2 kids I have to put through college. The next guy may have a sick spouse or parent to care for while another has no obligations at all.
This question came up over the weekend when a friend shared some of the stuff he was going through....the conversation began with him stating "I thought I had enough...."

 

You're quoting the Republican straw man argument. Portraying the Left as putting limits on anyone's earnings has never been the issue as the Right tries to frame it. Wall Street betting that its own investment advice will fail, Enron cooking their books, Madoff swindling billions, Arthur Anderson helping corporations cook their books, bankers making loans they know people can't afford, are all ways to make a pile of money. Is it justified in the name of "You should be able to earn as much as you want"? No, but try and convince people like you that it is all just the business of earning money and nobody including the government should interfere.

Now, back to the original question, how would Libs go about determing when enough is enough?

My original post was a question regarding the individual nothing more (if you'll re-read it I think you'll agree) so please don't try to make my question anything other than what it was. If I struck one of your paranoia nerves I apologize, the post wasn't directed towards you. You will have to admit though that it did sound like an answer we have come to expect from tomconspiracy, didn't it?

Both statements were made in an obvious attempt to hurt the credibility of the accused by comparing him to another perceived nut job on the opposite end of the political spectrum. The only difference is that you want to cry foul about something you do yourself. Sound familiar.

Hey this deleting and editing of posts is very Russian like. Protecting some posters and selectively editing some others. Steve..why did you edit mine and Lehigh's responses to this thread? Did you tell Lehigh or was this a joint venture?

Lehigh's response was removed in case anybody was wondering, along with mine. Mine was edited repeatedly. No explanation given. Money really does control all doesn't it? First time I was blatently edited and others posts were removed without the usual "post removed" or some such. If you all think this is actually an open forum...think again.

Well I'll expalin it to ya Sparky. (as if you don't know). Both of our posts were removed as not to have it appear to be favoring you. Since your post was the usual barrage of insults with little substance, pretending it didn't happen was the best way to not have to act on it. Addressing it might present issues of selectively favoring one of the "boys in the club". So, it was removed and ignored. That way, you're safe too Sparky.

 

That doesn't explain anything. Your original post was completely meaningless and I am certain intended as an insult towards me even though I don't have any idea what the insults mean. It is not my fault that your insults are stupid. The difference between us is that I readily admit that my post was an insult laden meaningless POS while you pretend that yours was unjustly edited. Sometimes I respond based on informative quality. Perhaps that answers your question Sparky. Perhaps not....either way...I don't care.

 

One was a broad generalized comparison and the other one was a specific behavioral-based comparison. If you really can't see the difference or if you simply choose to ignore the difference, what can I say?

 

Tom I have to ask how many times must I request that you stop with the personal attacks and stupid name calling? well if you wont comply then I edit and remove the post. I did the same to Lehighs as he was responding in kind and it is the easiest method of stopping a flame war.
If members here dont follow the rules as I have asked them then they are responsible for the resulting actions I take.
